"Italian Days in Georgia" - Strengthening Georgian - Italian Cooperation in Medicine and Medical Education

From September 11-13, Georgia Medical Holding (GMH), a corporate member of AmCham Georgia, hosted the international medical and scientific initiative "Italian Days in Georgia," bringing together representatives of the Georgian and Italian medical communities.

The main scientific conference took place in Tbilisi on September 11 and was attended by approximately 300 physicians and healthcare professionals. The conference featured invited Italian experts and brought together representatives of the Georgian government, the diplomatic corps, the healthcare sector, and professional organizations.

The conference was officially opened with welcoming remarks by Massimiliano D'Antuono, Ambassador of Italy to Georgia, and Irakli Sasania, Deputy Minister of Health of Georgia.

The three-day program combined scientific, professional, and cultural components, with the aim of deepening professional ties between the Georgian and Italian medical communities and creating new opportunities for future collaboration.

For Georgia Medical Holding, "Italian Days in Georgia" is part of a broader international vision - to foster cooperation between Georgia and leading European specialists and institutions in the fields of medicine, medical education, science, and healthcare innovation.
