ABOUT AMCHAM

The American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia (AmCham) is the largest international business chamber in Georgia, with more than 260 member companies. Founded in 1998, AmCham's primary objective is to promote commercial relations between Georgia and the United States and to improve the business environment across sectors including agriculture, energy, finance, industry, technology, trade, transportation, professional activities, taxation and related fields. We do this by working on business regulations, representing and promoting the economic interests of our members and facilitating connections between Georgian and international investors.

This is done in a range of ways. Through regular meetings, we keep members in contact with senior officials in the Government of Georgia, the U.S. Embassy Tbilisi, and each other. Our magazine, Investor.ge, provides insights into economic developments and business activity. Finally, our committee work serves as a platform for collecting opinions, conducting research, and advocating on issues important to our members and the wider business community, while strengthening commercial ties and sharing relevant information.

The various AmCham Committees are vital tools in achieving these goals. We will continue to strengthen our committees and create new ones to better raise awareness of issues affecting our members, promote our businesses, and enhance sectoral cooperation.
