November 10-12, 2010 - National Agency of Public Registry was awarded four prizes at the GITI Awards 2010

Third regional Georgia IT Innovation Conference and awards 2010 was held in Sheraton Metechi Palace Hotel on November 10-12. The event was organized by the ICT Business Council of Georgia and the LEPL Data Exchange Agency of Ministry of Justice of Georgia. More than 300 participants from twenty countries participated in the three-day conference aimed at sharing IT best practices in public and private sectors. The purpose of the conference was to reflect the significance of information technology in terms of creating an engine of growth for socio-economic development of Region; network with stakeholders and build awareness regarding IT and Cyber Security importance among high-level governmental officials, private sector representatives and the society at large. The distinguished panel of keynote speakers brought a diverse set of insights on different advancements on IT initiatives around the world.

At the end of the third day the winners of the Georgian IT Awards 2010 were revealed. The purpose of the award ceremony was to credit governmental and private entities for good work and best practices and encourage them and others to invest their time and energy in further development of the IT field.

The award for the best integrator of the year went to Limetech LLC; Idram LLC received the award for the best complex business solution; Software of the year award went to AzRy LLC; The best business to business solution award was given to Essential Solutions; Free University of Tbilisi received the award for the best provider of IT education; The prize for the best multimedia project went to X-Tech; State Procurement Agency received the award for the successful IT innovation which resulted in streamlining of a business process; Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia earned the prize for the most successful infrastructural solution; The best information resource award was given to Georgian National Investment Agency; EKENG Armenia received the award for the best IT project proposal; The star of the awards was The National Agency of Public Registry. The agency received four awards this year: the most widely applicable e-service, the best IT management entity, the best information security management and the super-prize - the IT agency of the year. The master of ceremony of the GITI Awards 2010 was Keti Sidamonidze from the American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia.
